Data Alignment and Synchronization Manual (ASI, acronym in Spanish for Alineación y Sincronización de Información): This manual contains a guide that shows how to build the master data flow model for a Company. In this manual, you will find the foundations for implementation of this process, through very specific actions.

GPC (Global Product Classification): Product classification framework developed to act as the standard taxonomy, part of the GS1 System.

GS1 Mexico Classification System: Product classification framework developed by GS1 - Mexico.

Implementation Guide (Data Set): Set of Data agreed as the framework to synchronize data within the the Mexican market.

Package Measurement Rules: Guide for the standardized measurement of products, supported by the GS1 System.

 

Implementation guides for Syncrhonizing Data through the GDSN within the Mexican Market

Synchronization Process within a single pair of trading partners (commonly a manufacturer and a retailer):

- Source and Recipient using Syncfonia: Process of data synchronization in which, as much the data source (e.g. supplier), as the data recipient (e.g. retailer) use Syncfonia as their Certified Data Pool to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

- Source using Syncfonia and the Recipient using another Certified Data Pool: Process of data synchronization in which the data source (e.g. supplier) uses Syncfonia as its Data Pool, meanwhile whereas the data recipient (e.g. retailer) uses another Certified Data Pool to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

- Source using another Certified Data Pool and the Recipient using Syncfonia: Process of data synchronization in which the data source (e.g. supplier) uses another Certified Data Pool, meanwhile recipient (e.g. retailer) uses Syncfonia to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

 

Synchronization Process with an intermediary involved in the flow of information, commonly known as the Distributor Model (three trading partners are required as minimum):

- Source, Intermediary and Recipient using Syncfonia: Process of data synchronization in which all the participants use Syncfonia as their Certified Data Pool to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

- Source and Recipient using Syncfonia as their Certifiied Data Pool and the Intermediary using another Certified Data Pool: Process of data synchronization in which as much the Data Source (e.g. supplier) and the Data Recipient (e.g. retailer) use Syncfonia as their Certified Data Pool, meanwhile the Intermediary (e.g. Distributor) uses another Certified Data Pool to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

- Source and Intermediary using Syncfonia as their Certifiied Data Pool and the Recipient using another Certified Data Pool: Process of data synchronization in which as much the Data Source (e.g. supplier) and the Intermediary (e.g. Distributor) use Syncfonia as their Certified Data Pool, meanwhile the Recipient (e.g. retailer) uses another Certified Data Pool to share such as item and party master data through the GDSN.

 

Important: all the item revision process made by SECODAT (acronym in spanish for "Servicio de Comprobación de Datos" - Data Revision Service), are integrated within every Implementation Guide.
